Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and commitment to strengthening South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) companies through an engagement with the company's senior supervisors at a strategic preparing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled from the 2024 matric examinations.
From the 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% in the registered pupils within the instruction sector.
These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.
